Assistant Chief Engineer | USS INDIANAPOLIS | Jacksonville, FL June 2017 – December 2020

  • Led the engineering department of thirty-plus personnel in the operation and maintenance of a newly automated propulsion plant resulting in the commissioning and delivery of a new U.S. naval vessel in 2018
  • Developed maintenance plans for main propulsion gas turbine engines, diesel generators, fuel oil, lubricating oil, compressed air, chilled water, and potable water production systems for a successful Light Off assessment
  • Supervised 12 refueling evolutions and 9 preventative maintenance availabilities covering over 4,100 maintenance checks while coordinating responsibilities with defense contractors such as BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin
